Creating the gel nutritional matrix starts with mixing Guar Gum and Xantham gum into purified water. These natural soluble fibers rapidly dissolve in water and "thicken" the water. This thickening process is caused by "entanglements" (electrostatic cross links) between the long chains of polysaccharides. This spaghetti like entanglements creates numeropus microenvironments within the 3D gel matrix.
Regardless of the temperature, these gel-forming polyssacharides create a large number of hydrated housing spaces for nutritional ingredients. Nutritional vitamins, minerals and botanical ingredients become "housed" within the gel matix and remain in a fully hydrated state.
Dry vitamins and mineral powders are mixed then blended into the water based gel matrix. Liquid botanicals (as fruits and botanical extracts) are mixed seperatly and added to the gel matrix. During the blending process these nutritional ingredients become dispersed and housed within the water water-filled microenvironment of the gel. These ingredients are suspended within the gel maxtrix.
This gel mixture provides consistent quantities of all ingredients. Therefore every gel packet is identical in nutriotional quanitities. In addition, every sip from a gel packet contains the same quantities of active ingredients. No shaking or mixing is required. This technology keeps nutritional ingredients in PRE-hydrated form, leading to better availability.
